علق الإعلامي أحمد شوبير، على قضية نادي الزمالك وأرضه في 6 أكتوبر، مؤكدًا دعمه للمجلس الحالي للنادي برئاسة الكابتن حسين لبيب، وجهوده المبذولة في هذا الملف، موضحًا آخر التطورات.

وقال شوبير في تصريحات عبر برنامجه الإذاعي صباح اليوم الأحد: “دعونا نتحدث عن قضية نادي الزمالك وأرض أكتوبر، بدايةً، أنا من أشد المتعاطفين مع الزمالك في هذا الملف جدًا جدًا، وللأمانة فإن المجلس الحالي بذل جهودًا كبيرة من أجل بدء العمل في هذا الفرع، وللتذكير، سبق وأن حذرت منذ فترة طويلة وقلت، كلما طال الوقت زادت المشكلة، لكن مع دخول المجلس الحالي بدأ التحرك في الجانب الاستثماري”.

وتابع: “بطبيعة الحال لا أعرف كل التفاصيل، لكني سألت كثيرًا بعض الأصدقاء داخل مجلس إدارة نادي الزمالك، وأؤكد أنني أقصد بعض الأصدقاء سواء داخل المجلس أو خارجه، أنا لست من النوع الذي يكرر أنهم أصدقائي وأحبائي، نحن بالفعل أصدقاء ولدينا محبين، نختلف في الآراء والأفكار، لكننا لا نختلف على الصالح العام”.

وأضاف: “ما أكدوه لي أن كل ما يُقال بشأن بناء (كومبوند) لا أساس له من الصحة على الإطلاق، العمل الاستثماري يسير بشكل جيد جدًا، وهذا أمر طبيعي، وكذلك العمل على النادي نفسه لخدمة الأعضاء والجماهير، والأعضاء بالفعل كانوا سعداء للغاية بهذا الطرح”.

وواصل: “أتمنى من مجلس إدارة نادي الزمالك، بما لديه من كوادر محترمة، أن يعقد مؤتمرًا صحفيًا يعلن فيه تفاصيل المشروع بوضوح، وهنا لن تكون هناك أي مشكلة، خذوا على سبيل المثال النادي الأهلي، عندما أعلن عن مشروع الاستاد الخاص به، خرج مرتين، الأولى أعلن فيها أسماء الممولين والتحالف، وبعد عام في احتفالية كبرى بالأقصر أعلنوا عن الاستاد والمشروع بالكامل”.

وأردف شوبير: “لذلك أقول، لا يكفي أن يخرج أحد المسؤولين بين الحين والآخر لتوضيح بعض الأمور، أعجبني جدًا ما قاله الأستاذ حسام المندوه الحسيني، وأيضًا المهندس هشام نصر، فقد تحدثا بكلام محترم، لكن لماذا لا يتم عقد مؤتمر صحفي يحضر فيه المستشار الهندسي المسؤول من داخل الزمالك ليشرح الفكرة؟ الأعضاء أنفسهم اعترفوا بوجود تأخير في السداد وبعض المشاكل، وأكدوا أنهم سيعملون على حلها خطوة بخطوة”.

واستمر: “إذا كان الهدف هو إنشاء نادٍ، فهذا أمر مرحب به، لكن الدولة لها قواعد وضوابط يجب الالتزام بها، وهذا شيء جيد، المهم أن تكون الأمور واضحة أمام الجميع، كل الاجتهادات والشائعات ستنتهي إذا خرج بيان رسمي يقدمه رئيس النادي أو نائبه أو المتحدث الرسمي باسم المجلس، حينها تصبح الصورة واضحة وينتهي الجدل”.

وشدد: “النقطة الأولى تتعلق بمشروع أرض 6 أكتوبر، أما النقطة الثانية فهي خاصة بالجماهير، أنتم في النهاية تتعاملون مع لوائح وقوانين دولة، الدولة منحتكم الأرض منذ عام 2003، أي منذ 22 عامًا، وأعطت مهلة تلو الأخرى، فليس من المنطقي تصوير الأمر على أنه تعنت من جانب الدولة، بالعكس، الدولة قدمت كل التسهيلات، لذلك أنا أرى أن دفاع مسؤولي الزمالك عن المشروع أمر جيد، لكن الأفضل أن يكون التوضيح بالصورة التي ذكرتها”.

واستكمل: “المواجهة دائمًا هي الحل الأفضل، وتوضيح الحقائق أمام الناس أمر مهم للغاية، وكذلك شرح موقف الدولة، القصة بسيطة جدًا: الدولة تريد أن تساعد، على سبيل المثال، عندما كان هناك مشروع الاستاد في الشيخ زايد، تدخلت الدولة، وقال الرئيس عبد الفتاح السيسي وقتها: (عمّروا الدنيا واجعلوها تعمل)، وبالفعل تم ذلك”.

وتابع: “أرجوكم جميعًا بلا استثناء، أزيلوا فكرة المؤامرة من عقولكم، لا تلتفتوا إلى ما يُثار عبر السوشيال ميديا من شائعات واجتهادات، دعونا نعمل بشكل منضبط، نحن ننتقد السوشيال ميديا أحيانًا، لكننا أيضًا نستفيد منها، فهي تقدم أخبارًا وأفكارًا، لذلك يجب أن نسير بشكل متوازن”.

وأشار: “وبالمناسبة، لدي معلومة من مصدر مسؤول داخل وزارة الشباب والرياضة، تفيد بأن الدكتور أشرف صبحي وزير الرياضة، ووزير الإسكان، سيعرضان الأمر على مجلس الوزراء، سواء عاجلًا أو لاحقًا، لكن حتى الآن، الزمالك لا يملك أرضًا في أكتوبر، حيث تم سحبها لصالح جهاز مدينة حدائق أكتوبر وفقًا لخطابات رسمية قديمة”.

واختتم: “الميزة حاليًا أن الدولة تطبق القانون، الزمالك الآن لا يملك الأرض، لكنه يسعى بكل الطرق القانونية والشرعية لاستعادتها وشرح موقفه للجميع، وهذا ما يخص ملف أرض أكتوبر”.

U.S. international Damion Downs recorded the game-winning assist on Saturday as Southampton defeated Wrexham 2-1 on the opening day of the English Championship.

Wrexham, in their Championship debut, opened the scoring from the penalty spot in the first half, but two late goals in quick succession secured all three points for the . A 90th-minute free kick from Ryan Manning drew them level, and come the final minute of the match, they found the winner off the boot of captain Jack Stephens. A ball was driven across the six-yard box, and Downs managed to get the briefest of flick-ons to find Stephens, who smashed home in the sixth minute of stoppage time.

Downs, a 60th-minute substitution into the match, made an impact in his first competitive match for the club since his $10M transfer from FC Köln this offseason.

Downs earned his first caps with the USMNT this summer, featuring in the June international window and during the CONCACAF Gold Cup. He made five appearances for the U.S. across both windows, cap-tying him to the United States after being a dual-national with both Germany and the USA. 

After the Gold Cup, he secured his transfer to England, following a breakout season in the 2. Bundesliga season with Köln, where he led the team in scoring and helped secure their promotion to the German top flight.

With Southampton, he'll be pushing for a spot in the USMNT's September roster under manager Mauricio Pochettino.

Hojlund has emerged as a top target for AC Milan, with the club intensifying efforts to bring the Danish striker back to Italy. Following the swift acquisition of Koni De Winter, Milan are now focused on bolstering their attack. According to , Hojlund is open to a move to San Siro, especially after Manchester United signaled — via his agency — that he no longer figures in their plans.

In recent days, Milan have stepped up contact with Hojlund and received a positive response from the striker. The Dane is reportedly intrigued by the prospect of joining the Rossoneri, a significant development that signals his openness to a potential return to Serie A. The former Atalanta forward was determined to fight for a spot despite the arrival of Benjamin Sesko from RB Leipzig, but Ruben Amorim is believed to not have a lot of faith in Hojlund. Consequently, Hojlund has accepted that he doesn't have a future at Old Trafford and would like to join Milan, with no natural No. 9 managing to nail a spot in Massimiliano Allegri's XI so far. Meanwhile, the 22-year-old has also been offered to Bayern Munich in recent days.

Milan would like to close the deal in the next few days to avoid other clubs, perhaps Champions League contenders, from getting involved; this could happen if Hojlund gives his definitive "yes". In the meantime, Milan are working with United to reach an agreement: the formula, a loan with an option to buy, has already been agreed, but the figures have yet to be finalised.

Milan would like to pay €3-4 million for the loan and set the buyout at around €30-32m, while United are asking for more: €7-8m for the loan for a total deal of between €40m (£35m/$47m) and €45m (£39m/$53m) including bonuses. There is a gap in valuation, but the player's desire could make the difference.

Despite encouraging signs from Hojlund, AC Milan are preparing for all scenarios in case the deal falls through. The club are actively exploring alternatives, with Victor Boniface from Bayer Leverkusen and Chelsea's Nicolas Jackson among the names on their radar.   Analyzing Timothy Weah's transfer to Marseille, former USMNT star Herculez Gomez questioned whether the U.S. international can thrive under coach Roberto De Zerbi's management style.

  “I'll tell you where he won't be comfortable and that's with Roberto de Zerbi,” Gomez said on the Futbol Americas podcast. “Now, this is a very stern, very firm coach… He's going to be a firm hand, but I actually think that serves Timothy Weah some good right now. This is Timothy Weah, who goes to Juventus and was a wing back – and all through those moments you would see ‘Wow, pretty good assist. Wow, very good play. Wow, pretty good goal’. 

  "So, he doesn't have a lot of mileage in those legs. In the last couple years, since Qatar, at the club level, Timothy Weah has been non-existent… Do what it takes day in day out, and training field to earn your spot. Every single weekend, be an impact player with Marseille. This is going to be one of the defining moments in Timothy Weah’s career. He's in a place that, because of his father, the limelight will be on him. He's in a place right now because of the World Cup where it's do or die for this player – and he still has much to prove to Mauricio Pochettino."

  Gomez said the move could be career-defining, especially since the USMNT has a new manager with new expectations.

  “We can no longer keep that same stance or that same bar with these players, because Mauricio Pochettino has proven, he doesn't care," he said of past performances. "He's proven that he'll go with MLS player, go with the player who proves it to him in that training session. So, if I'm Timothy Weah, this has to work out because there are a lot of players right now. If the biggest player in USMNT pool, in their orbit, Christian Pulisic, is in doubt… what do players, like, Timothy Weah, have to look forward if they're not on? What do they have to look forward if they're not playing well?”

  WHAT ALEXI LALAS SAID

  Former USMNT star Alexi Lalas also offered his assessment of the move to Marseille, and remained optimistic that Weah's place in the starting lineup still holds.

  “So yes, he's versatile,” Lalas said on his State of the Union podcast. “I still will argue that he, over the last cycle, was the most consistent and most dangerous and uniquely dangerous player from an attacking perspective over there on that right hand side. And that's kind of where I want to see him now. The fact that we still haven't found somebody up top, who knows, maybe Pochettino gets creative?

  "But ultimately, if Tim Weah is playing on that right hand side and doing good things, I think it's going to be hard for a Diego Luna or anybody else to come in and take that spot."

رد بيتسو موسيماني، المدير الفني السابق للنادي الأهلي، على تصريحات منسوبة إليه خلال الساعات الماضية، والتي هاجم فيها القلعة الحمراء وإدارتها.

وكانت شبكة “سنترال نيوز” الجنوب إفريقية قد نسبت لموسيماني قوله إن “كرة القدم عبارة عن ثلاثة أمور: الفوز والتعادل والخسارة”، مؤكداً أنه “غير مستعد لتدريب نادٍ يعتقد أنه سيفوز دائمًا”، كشروط للعودة إلى تدريب الأهلي.

لكن موسيماني أكد عبر تصريحات خاصة لـ بطولات أن ما نُشر غير صحيح، قائلاً: “أكاذيب”، لينفي بذلك تماماً مهاجمته للنادي الأهلي الذي سبق أن قاده لتحقيق بطولة دوري أبطال إفريقيا مرتين من قبل.

وبذلك موسيماني أكد على أنه يكن كل تقدير واحترام للنادي الأهلي وجماهيره، مؤكداً أن فترته داخل القلعة الحمراء ستظل جزءاً مميزاً في مسيرته التدريبية بعد النجاحات التي تحققت محليًا وقاريًا.

ورحل موسيماني عن الأهلي في يونيو 2022 بسبب سوء النتائج في الدوري المصري وقتها، ثم انتقل لتدريب أهلي جدة السعودي وبعد ذلك الوحدة الإماراتي والاستقلال الإيراني.
